Elks Immigration

The Canadian immigration is known to welcome thousands of immigrants into the country every year, and this could be both on a temporary and permanent basis. Because of the opportunities in Canada, the number of applicants keeps increasing.

With a temporary permit, immigrants will be coming to study, get a visa, or work. If you are given a temporary Canadian visa, you can access the resources provided by the Canadian government for every resident of the country. However, it is vital that after the visa expires, the applicant is to exit the country or applies for a new one before the expiration date.

Three Categories of
Temporary Visa Status.

Visitor Visa

You will be given a visitor visa (travel document) to enter Canada if you wish to stay in the country for a minimum of six months, either for a visit, tourist or vacation purposes. This visa will only be issued to a country that requires a visa to enter Canada. If your country is exempted from providing a visa upon entry, you can legally enter the country without it.

Study Permit

This is also another temporary permit given to scholars looking to study in Canada. This study permit will give you access to any Canadian university or institution that has offered you admission.

Work Permit

If you are a foreign worker looking to work in Canada, you need to apply for a work permit as it is the only pathway to allow you to work in the country. Without a work permit, working in Canada will be illegal.
